Her beauty is unmatched! Very elegant graceful features in her face cause your eyes not to be able to focus on just one part of her face. Her eyes are like windows to heaven and her lips are catalyst of desire. Her skin is so soft that at times my hands have difficulty detecting it. Her stunning beauty is natural, not needing coloring added. Just a remarkable masterpiece of creation that stole my heart the minute she gave me her attention.
It began in a mall many years ago. My best friend and I were just hanging out. He had come back to Indianapolis from Arizona and we were actually beginning to wrap up our visit when this very cute girl asks my friend for his phone number. He, being at my house mine was the only number to give, gave her my number and that girl with the stunning smile turned and walked away. Later, when the conversation had gone on for a while between her and my friend I was handed the phone and awkwardly I attempted to communicate intelligently.
I had much competition over the years to win her hand and eventually I did. We have been through a lot together and the bond we share goes beyond any others. Through the hills and valleys the Lord has kept us together. As we both attempt to move closer to the Lord she has surpassed me in progress in nearly every way. She is a part of me that no one else can fill and she is my best friend. I love her so much.
Today I reflect on much and I thank my God for what He has done in my life and what He continues to do in our relationship and in our family. In an era where most marriages dissolve ours, by God’s grace, kindness, forgiveness, and blessings, He will keep and protect our marriage until He calls us home…there to spend eternity together with the Father.
Wanda, I may not always show it but you are my greatest treasure that the Lord has given me. Thank you for your surrender and the giving of yourself to me. You are my crowning jewel that I will one day present to the Lord.
