My Political Stance
by Administrator on May.28, 2010, under Jim, Merthiolate for the Christian Soul, Sore Dove
Clearing up some confusion-
I am not a Republican. I actually prefer a completely different form of government. I am a citizen of a Heavenly Kingdom. On Earth I am a born and raised American and politically I am conservative (life based on Biblical priciples). My King is Jesus Christ and one day He will rule the earth. It will be cool too because… I am a prince in that Kingdom! So, I am for a government of a dictatorship where Christ is King!!!!
Merthiolate for the Christian soul
by Administrator on May.27, 2010, under Jim, Sore Dove
I have been stirring some hearts. I understand now that is what I am supposed to be doing in mininstry, sort of my calling. While not the same as ancient prophets of the Bible my messages are true and from God’s Word and are meant to express the love of God in a most unpopular way.
My posts are not meant to hurt anyone but sometimes they do. It is the same way a parent or good friend loving ‘lays it on the line’ for the benefit of someone they love and care for. Too many have become spoon fed Christians that have eaten and liked the wordly Christianity served to it. My pain is that many of these so called Christians are nothing but those false brothers and sisters that will only bring harm to the true brothers and sisters in Christ.
Repent church! Repent Christians! Can you not see? Do you not understand? To God- to Christ you have become luke warm and useless! You tolerate evil in the name of goodness, love, and diversity! You celebrate the most disgusting practices known to man- sexual sin and murder! Please seek God while it is still day! Repent from evil. Fear the Lord and love Him back.
A Noah Funny
by Administrator on Jun.29, 2009, under Wanda
We had a goofy and funny experience happen with our son, Noah recently and instead of giving you the link, I thought I’d share it with you in email. Members were asked to post something they thought was funny or excellent in some way and to share who the designer was, as well as the design. (I think they were looking for logo’s and signs and such in our city, but my whole world revolves around my kids). I hope this makes you laugh—it sure gave me the jollies (and still does).
God is the Designer and here’s the design: My son Noah, who is 8 years old, was in our van in a Marsh parking lot along with his five sisters and one brother, plus myself, when he saw an elderly white-haired lady walk out of the store and get into her car. She had a couple bags of groceries in her arms and she got along just fine to her car. Upon seeing her, Noah shouted loudly, “Wait! where’s that old ladies crotch?” Every one of my children along with myself, gasped in horror of his question. Then his big brother, who’s 11 and knows him very well, said “Noah, you mean a crutch! And not every old lady needs one!” He was referring to a cane I think, but this kept me giggling as I kept playing the shock over and over in my head. This was not something you hear your kids say very often! It was also an opportunity to redirect his minds image of the elderly. (they are not just wrinkled people with white hair who carry sticks——–they are amazing human beings who have the experience that everyone else could and SHOULD learn from!). And besides that, God willing, you’ll be elderly one day!
My Mountaintop

As a believer, a disciple of Jesus Christ, one of the most wonderful things we have is prayer. Jesus made reference to prayer many times during His ministry and He Himself demonstrated the tremendous importance of prayer. Early in my Christian life I prayed all the time. I prayed about everything. I prayed about praying. I had a great time with my new relationship with God and I wanted to spend all the time I could with Him.
I heard a sermon once about a prayer closet. Jesus made reference to going into a place and pray in secret and saying the your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you. I love that verse because it tells you that God wants that alone time, just you and Him.
I found my place early on. It was my car. I drive all day long. I visit many places and at any given time I could literally be anywhere in the state. What is neat about my secret, sacred place is that the view from the window is always different. It allows me to see Gods handiwork from a new perspective each time. It gives me a chance to see His tremendous power. It is sort of like a live postcard from Heaven showing me places where God presence is and is working.
Sometimes the worship is totally mind blowing. Often I will hum a song or a melody. Sometimes I will whistle. Sometimes I play my tin whistle. Other times I just deeply meditate. Each time learning more about God and developing a more meaningful relationship.
What is your secret sacred place? In what ways do you spend quiet time with the Master? In what ways to you worship? I would be interested to hear.
In God We Trust -Do We?
by Administrator on Jun.17, 2009, under Jim
This is an older blog that had been transferred from another blog site:
A recent hype that went on was some stupid poll that a news organization puts out asking if the phrase ‘In God We Trust’ should be removed from our currency. I feel that this is something interesting to think about and I would like to take a moment and expound upon it a bit.
First of all this- you know, we do not live in a Christian country. I hate to rain on your parade but this country is about as Christian as our family guinea pig is a sea turtle. It just isn’t so. What we have in this country are some fragments of a dissolving culture to make way for the ‘enlightened’ culture of those who think that God is anything but what the Bible says He is.
America, the land of opportunity. What opportunities are there? Apart from God, these opportunities lead to nothing. The problem is that there are to many opportunities for to many evil things to be had. There are new and fancier ways of committing sin. Our society has given us a safety net that gives us some assurance that if we have the desire to sin there will always be someone there to support us, to make us feel better about ourselves. We have ways of overlooking sin for the sake of progress and financial gain. Why, even a company that I work for supports killing babies and promoting sinful lifestyles. How? By ‘indirectly’ offering services and goods to keep their businesses going, of course while we are taking their money.
Our country is suffering some of the most bizarre and devastating natural disasters. New forms of diseases are making appearances. Kids are out of control. Sex is not only plentiful and nearly everywhere you look but is also taking on some of the most disgusting forms ever seen. Our art forms are sadistic, immoral, degrading, and blasphemous. Marriage, well we should not even go there as I get sick to my stomach just thinking about that one. Our economy is not so good.
The thing is that the phrase ‘In God We Trust’ does NOT belong on our currency. It is a lie. The commandments state that we shall not lie. So, it needs to be removed. Sorry Christian brother, Christian sister, but you will need to find some other cause to champion because this one here is justified.
The once glorious United States of America does not trust God. As a result this country will one day be a ruin. The moral decadence will continue until the fullness of her sins has come and God brings judgment upon her that will be unprecedented, when corporate America succumbs to the whims of immoral social groups. When schools are more dangerous than prisons, when the courts of the land deem that Godliness is contrary to what is right. When the leaders of our country can’t maintain their families and have immoral affairs and other sexual liaisons. When political correctness causes commonsense to appear to be nonsense, when science is no longer science and we get taught fairy tales like evolution and global warming, when materialism replaces godly living, when sports events take precedence over church… well I think you see the point.
Christian friend, do not worry about a poll about whether or not ‘In God We Trust’ is going to be on our currency. You have better things to do than that. Witness to your neighbor. Stand out against sin around you. Call people to repentance! Tell them the good news of Jesus Christ. Get rid of the sinful things in your own lives! Judgment of the US is coming. It can’t be stopped, it might be prolonged in it’s coming a short time but it is coming. Let us reach out in love to this dying land filled with a cancerous evil and let us try to save as many here as we can.
My thoughts.
