Every since I was a young teen I have wanted a Carvin guitar. I thought they were the Lamborghini of guitars. Knowing I would never be able to afford one I just let that little dream slip away. That is until a friend of him, and a dear Christian brother gave me this one that he built from a Carvin kit.
This kit is that of the Carvin Bolt, meaning it has a bolt on neck. This guitar features all of the high quality parts you would expect from Carvin but in a kit form so that it can be guilt by the customer. My friend Stephen put this one together, along with several others, and this has become one of my all time favorite players for all things ‘strat-ie”.
Everything you need to build the guitar comes with the kit. But, unlike the kit that I built my double neck guitar from, this kit allows you to order some customization to things such as the neck inlays, pick guard type and style, tuners, pickups, etc.

Stephen will never know really what this gift means to me. It is one of those guitars I absolutely love to play but am afraid to play because I am afraid I will hurt it. But, every time it is played the sounds flowing from it is so sweet.
